Jack is Chairman of the Global Smart Commodity Group. He was formerly a member of the board of directors of the CME Group during which time he helped demutualize the exchange and prepare for its IPO. During his time on the Board, Jack was instrumental in conceptualizing the E-mini futures and later creating the Russell 2000 futures and options, S&P Midcap 400 futures and options.

Jack has served as CEO of Index Futures Group and President of Commerzbank Futures. As an entrepreneur, Jack has launched over a dozen companies and thrives on developing innovative and disruptive ideas. He is also currently Co-Founder, Chief Economist and Director of the Universal Compute Exchange (UCX).

Jack graduated with honors and distinctions from Loyola University of Chicago and is a featured expert contributor on CNBC focusing on market developments and trends.


As the CEO of Global Smart Commodity Group, Robert is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of all facets of the business.

Robert has a proven financial background and over 25 years of experience in financial funds and commodity risk management. Prior to joining GSCG, Robert was the Head of Risk Management for a large US Dairy Cooperative. He transformed hedging and risk management policies to adapt to high performance and scalable solutions for managing a wide array of internal and external risks.

Previously, as Founding Partner in a market-making firm, he helped re-establish the Chicago Mercantile Exchange dairy complex from open outcry to an electronic market by direct participation as the lead market maker. Aside from this, Robert has managed multiple commodity trading advisors totaling assets in excess of $700M and was a member of a management team advising on equity and fixed income assets allocation and execution for personal assets of high net worth individuals.


Fadi has extensive experience operating in FinTech and capital markets. He began his career at Archipelago as an intern and through their acquisition by the New York Stock Exchange, rose to Managing Director, Operations.

Upon NYSE’s acquisition by Intercontinental Exchange, Fadi was chosen to lead the formation and operations of the Systems Operations Department. He was responsible for the transformation of five legacy departments into one and oversaw day-to-day operations of nine electronic exchange trading systems.

At NYSE, he also developed the performance goals and long-term operational plans while driving initiatives to maximize efficiency and productivity through the introduction of extensive process analysis.

Fadi attended DePaul University In Chicago, IL, and received an undergraduate degree in E-Commerce Technology and a Master’s degree in Information Systems.


Mr. Jarvis brings 30-plus years of general management and consulting experience. His creative and innovative leadership has helped develop new strategic and financial options for over 25 NYSE companies while at a variety of management consulting firms such as Planmetrics/Index, Renaissance, Navigant Consulting, and CGN Global. He has developed a series of modeling tools to analyze dairy cooperatives – farm to plant to customer.  These tools enable the economic and financial assessment of various marketing, capital, and operating options. As a senior advisor, he has developed performance models and metrics, applied advanced enterprise risk management, conducted M & A studies, and designed and implemented industry transforming IT applications. He commands a broad public policy and strategic business environment perspective base upon his work in the Illinois Governor’s Office and the City of Chicago Mayor’s Office. In addition to his extensive senior advisory experience, Mr. Jarvis brings his own adventures as entrepreneur – he built and sold his own professional services firm, MDG, Inc. to Renaissance Worldwide, (Nasdaq: REGI). 


JEFF SCHUH – Senior Director Agricultural Commodities

Prior to Joining GSCG, Jeff Schuh was a partner and treasury division director running A.B. Financial’s treasury futures and derivatives department for 21 years at the CME Group in Chicago managing the entire yield curve with a basket of treasury products.

In addition to running the treasury department at A.B. Financial, L.L.C, Jeff teamed up with Price Futures Group in Chicago to provide consulting and risk management to corporations facing commodity price exposure using market-based solutions. Jeff started his career out of Purdue University at the CBOE trading over 40 names in the Citigroup/Pfizer open-outcry pit.

EMILY BOUROUDJIAN – Marketing and Communications

Emily Bouroudjian is excited to be a part of the GSCG Marketing and Communications team. She graduated from Loyola University with a degree in Communications and obtained a Masters degree from Kings College London.

NATHAN R. MURPHY – Director of Hemp Fiber and Carbon Offset Division

Nathan is an entrepreneur with an extensive network and background in Hemp. He has numerous international and cross-cultural experiences, including a philanthropic venture to support rural schools in China. Nathan co-founded and sold a plant extraction company in Colorado; processing hops with ethanol and hemp via CO2 extraction, manufacturing consumer goods, and selling them to various retail and distribution outlets. He then became a geotech in the Rocky Mountains as an ACI certified QC and QA tester for Best Engineering, USA. After relocating back to Austin, Nathan found and joined an innovative tech startup serving the hemp industry with mobile applications to track and share supply chain data. Nathan graduated from Purdue University with Bachelor degrees in Management and Economics. He holds Master degrees in Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation from EMLYON (France) and Purdue University.
